CORT, a leading provider of transition services, is seeking a skilled Furniture Repair Technician to join our team in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine and repair damaged furniture to restore it to its original condition.
  • Estimate and purchase materials required for repairs.
  • Conduct daily touch-ups and repairs of outgoing furniture.
  • Order and maintain parts, hardware, and supplies for the repair section.
  • Train warehouse personnel in basic repair techniques.
  • Track and report daily repaired pieces.
  • Maintain a high level of quality and productivity in work produced.
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • At least 1 year of furniture repair experience.
  • At least 6 months of carpentry experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or GED; or 3 months related warehouse experience and/or training.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
  • Able to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
  • Pass background checks and drug screening as a condition of employment.
