Electrical Controls Engineer Co-op

Johnsonville, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Controls Engineer Co-op to join our Engineering Team. As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, apply your knowledge and creativity, and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering skills to lead and support projects that improve human safety, food safety, quality, capacity expansion, and productivity.
  • Learn aspects of the sausage/meat business and develop project vision, objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist project automation and design engineers with new project implementations.
  • Work with cross-functional project teams supporting customers of the engineering team.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must currently be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Control Systems, or a related field.
  • Junior or senior status preferred.
  • Minimum 2.70 overall GPA and a 3.0 GPA in their core concentration required.
