Job Summary:

This is a critical leadership role within the Funding Department at National Seating & Mobility. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of the Funding Department, ensuring timely and quality funding approvals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Complex Rehab Technology Funding operations and experience managing a team of direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the transaction cycle time from Ready to Process to Funding Approval, ensuring all necessary steps are taken in the appropriate order.
• Coordinate and manage the hiring, training, mentoring, performance, continuous education, and career development of the Funding Specialist Team.
• Develop and maintain training materials, guides, and progress reporting.
• Manage and develop the Funding Specialists and Lead Funding Specialists, ensuring self-sufficient performance management.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and compassion of the Funding Specialist Team.
• Coordinate temporary coverage to ensure all orders are worked timely with a high level of quality and compassion.
• Share Key Performance Indicators with direct report team and stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Calculate and request bonus payment for direct report team on a monthly basis.
• Manage the credit exception process to expedited delivery when appropriate and directed.
• Resolve employee and client conflicts, escalating issues to appropriate levels of authority when necessary.
• Manage payroll and administrative functions for direct reports.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology Funding operations.
• 2 years of experience managing a minimum of 10 direct reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, work instructions, and governmental regulations.

Work Environment:

This position primarily operates in a work-from-home environment, with occasional visits to a professional office setting. The work-from-home policy and requirements must be adhered to.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit, and use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
