Job Title: ETL Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer to join our team at Epis Data. As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data migration solutions using SSIS, Python, and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement SSIS packages to migrate data from various sources to SQL Server
  • Develop and optimize Python scripts to automate ETL processes and handle complex data transformations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to translate business requirements into robust data engineering solutions
  • Conduct comprehensive data mapping, data analysis, and data modeling to support ETL processes
  • Write SQL and T-SQL scripts to analyze and translate legacy ERP data into new ERP platforms
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in ETL development, with a focus on SSIS, Python, and SQL Server
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and develop SQL Server solutions
  • Experience working with ERP data models, including customers, suppliers, items, and transactions
  • Ability to learn on the fly and integrate new information and skills to enhance personal performance or the performance of the organization
Preferred Skills:
  • NiFi experience for building efficient data flows and processing pipelines
  • Apache Airflow experience for orchestrating complex ETL workflows and managing data pipelines
  • Apache Splunk experience for monitoring, searching, and analyzing large volumes of data
