Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Infusion

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Burke, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Stem Cell Transplant Infusion Clinic. As a member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive patient and family education on treatments, medications, and chemotherapy
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patients and families with appropriate resources and support
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Act as a clinical resource and mentor to healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • 1 year of infusion nursing experience
  • 2 years of inpatient or outpatient hematology/oncology experience preferred
  • Effective communication and delegation skills
  • Ability to integrate nursing research and findings into practice
