Critical Care Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. This is a 13-week travel assignment that will provide you with the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a critical care setting and be able to prioritize multiple patients simultaneously while maintaining excellent communication skills. If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
About the JobThis role will involve working in a dynamic respiratory department where you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for critically ill patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
You will be required to perform a range of duties, including:
- Assessing patient condition and developing treatment plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Performing respiratory therapy procedures, such as intubation and ventilation
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition

RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Oregon
- At least 2 years of experience working in a critical care setting
