Operating Room Technician

As a Certified Surgical Technician at Avera Queen of Peace, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include performing scrub duties, assisting surgeons with procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment.

Job Summary:
The Certified Surgical Technician will be responsible for:
• Performing scrub duties and assisting surgeons with procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures
Education and Certification:
To be eligible for this position, you must have completed a Surgical Tech program and hold certification from an approved national certifying organization (NBSTSA or NCCT). Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.

• Competitive hourly rate: $23.25 - $34.00 per hour

Work Schedule:
This position requires a variable schedule, including approximately every fourth/fifth weekend and holiday. Call time involvement is also required, with approximately 1-2 nights per week.
