Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and formulate a plan of care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education to patients and their families
  • Document and chart patient observations and data
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Licensure appropriate to the state and certifications required for the position
  • Minimum 1 year of previous job experience
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • CPR certification
Physical Requirements

The individual must be able to lift supplies, push beds or chairs, and maneuver throughout the facility. Visual and auditory skills are required for interpretation of environmental input.
