We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, a part of LifeBridge Health. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating patients, planning, and administering patient treatments to improve physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions.

Job Description

Evaluating patients involves assessing their medical history, performing physical examinations, and using observation skills to understand their abilities and limitations. Based on this assessment, the Physical Therapist develops an individualized treatment plan that may include self-care tasks, work skills, muscle re-education, therapeutic activities, and other interventions.

The goal of this treatment plan is to help patients achieve optimal levels of function and mobility, thereby improving their quality of life. In accordance with APTA standards and Maryland Board of Examiners scope of practice, the Physical Therapist provides professional care that addresses the unique needs of each patient.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • Maryland Physical Therapist License
