With over $2 billion in completed developments and a half-billion dollar pipeline, they are a major player in the industry.
Job Description
The ideal Project Manager will be responsible for preparing and submitting budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports. They will interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients. The Project Manager will also direct and supervise construction or related workers, prepare contracts, and negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors. Additionally, they will confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. The Project Manager will also plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems, study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods, inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations, investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies, develop or implement quality control programs, requisition supplies or materials to complete construction projects, determine labor requirements for dispatching workers to construction sites, and contract or oversee craftwork, such as painting or plumbing.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 7-10+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager. They will also have 3+ years of experience leading as head Project Manager, an average project size of $10-20 million or higher, and a working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. The candidate must be extremely proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents, including specifications and drawings. They will also have excellent communication skills with various parties, including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
