As a Product Development Specialist, you will take a key position in the Innovation Leadership team, spearheading the creation of new products while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry is preferred; however, candidates with an MSc and substantial relevant industry experience will also be considered.
  • At least 8 years of experience in polymer chemistry, coatings formulation, and coatings technology, with a proven history of successfully launching new products.
  • Experience in the spray application process or coatings utilized in packaging would be advantageous, though strong candidates with a solid background in polymer and coatings chemistry will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation and product development within the coatings team, focusing on new technologies for packaging applications.
  • Lead the development of new products, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
  • Provide expert technical support to clients and internal teams.
  • Present findings from new product development to key stakeholders and occasionally engage with clients to explore opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
  • Understand product manufacturing processes to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
