Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Operator skilled in operating forklifts and skid steers. The Operator will be tasked with ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment while maintaining optimal production levels. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, with potential for extended hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre and post-operation inspections of machinery.
• Safely load and unload materials from transport vehicles.
• Verify the quality of materials handled.
• Accurately record weight measurements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
• Report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts and/or skid steers.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.

Essential Skills:

• Strong commitment to safety practices.
• Proven ability to operate forklifts and skid steers proficiently.
• Capability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to perform additional tasks as required.
• Strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.

Work Environment:

This position is situated in a manufacturing environment, characterized by moderate to high noise levels.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
• Consistent attention to detail.
• Prolonged periods of close vision.
• Frequent sitting and verbal communication.
• Occasional standing and walking.
