About the Role: Aspire Health Partners is seeking a skilled Crisis Support Specialist to join our team. A Crisis Support Specialist is responsible for providing a variety of essential functions to assess, diagnose, and refer individuals seeking mental health or substance abuse services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Registering clients in the Electronic Health Record system.
- Completing thorough biopsychosocial assessments.
- Assigning accurate DSM-5 diagnoses for in-person assessors.
- Verbally de-escalating clients in crisis situations.
- Providing referrals to appropriate internal and external programs.
- Communicating effectively with other departments.
- Following all program-specific protocols.
- Maintaining required credentials to perform job functions.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Services or Psychology (or equivalent experience).
- Telephonic Assessors may require a Bachelor's Degree in Social Services.
- Superior communication and documentation abilities.
- 1 year of experience working with the target population.
- Pass a Level II Background clearance.
