Job Summary

USA Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian PRN-USA Endocrine and Diabetes to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Identify patients at risk through screening procedures and develop personalized nutrition care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement patient-specific nutrition support plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
  • Conduct in-services and educational programs for staff to promote knowledge and skills.
  • Formulate menus for modified diets and integrate them into institutional menus.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards, as well as compliance requirements and policies.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, or food systems management from an accredited institution is required. Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensure with the state of Alabama as a dietitian are also necessary.
