Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Somersworth, New Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare non-IV medication for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and precision in selection, packaging, and labeling.
- Distribute medications to patient areas of the hospital, maintaining timely provision and ensuring all needed medications are transferred to current cassettes.
- Assist in the creation, handling, and maintenance of pharmacy records, promoting efficient operation and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain proper inventory and control of medications and supplies, ensuring orderly stock levels and facilitating timely filling of medication orders.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, completing and documenting medication storage area inspections and identifying outdated medications.
