A Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are kept clean, organized, and inviting. This position involves daily servicing of guest rooms in line with hotel protocols, including restocking supplies and changing bed linens while adhering to safety and security standards set by the company.

Additionally, this role may require performing 'deep cleaning' tasks within guest rooms alongside preventative maintenance duties.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.


This role demands a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members, whether verbally or in writing.

Candidates must be able to clearly convey information and ideas.

Quick and accurate decision-making skills are essential.

Ability to perform well under pressure is required.

Responsibilities:
Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a warm, service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with company standards as dictated by scheduling needs.


Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand guidelines).

Adhere to company standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms each shift.

Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies.

Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

May need to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms for deep cleaning purposes.


Deep cleaning responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, and addressing scratched furniture.
