Evening Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening Janitor to join our team at Lyngblomsten Care Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our building, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing floors.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all floor surfaces using the appropriate chemicals, procedures, and equipment.
• Clean and set up 5-5-1 Club offices and events.
• Complete all mandatory inservice training on time.
• Dust and sweep stairwells.
• Remove all trash and recycling in the building according to a schedule and dispose of it properly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all trash and recycling containers and replace can liners as needed.
• Clean and disinfect all common areas and staff bathrooms.
• Ensure that all dispensers are filled.
• Sweep, dust mop, vacuum, and wet mop all floors in dining rooms, hallways, and other areas.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of floor care procedures.
• Ability to use equipment to care for flooring.
• Able to follow both written and oral instructions and work independently.
• Able to relate to residents with respect and courtesy.
