The Culinary Specialist reports directly to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and organizing the workstation in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Preparing all food items in a clean and timely manner.
- Adhering to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Restocking all necessary items throughout the shift.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workstation while practicing safety and sanitation protocols.
- Utilizing all equipment in the station correctly.
- Assisting in the cleaning and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
- Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by the Chefs.
Requirements for Interested Candidates:
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Previous experience is essential (position and compensation will be determined based on experience).
- Availability, particularly on weekends and holidays.
- Ensuring the quality of food is exceptional and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Complying with health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring kitchen equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Ability to follow directions, collaborate in a team setting, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Capability to stand for the entire shift, endure temperature variations, and lift up to 50 pounds.
