About the Job

Access Healthcare Physicians LLC is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Assist physicians in performing diagnostic procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for imaging
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications that may arise
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a cath lab or similar setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
