Job Summary

Beaufort Jasper is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality oral care services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care using established dental hygienist procedures.
  • Perform patient triage and initiate patient care as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients.
  • Assess dental condition and needs of patients by analyzing medical records and prescribed protocol.
  • Document dental history, chief complaint, and patient reactions.
  • Perform routine treatment procedures, such as cleaning, polishing, and x-rays.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited dental hygiene program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid SC Dental Hygiene license and current CPR certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public relations skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
