This position involves the upkeep of technical equipment necessary for the job, ensuring they are fully operational. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of painting tools, including both fine and broad brushes, airbrushes, and rollers, as well as techniques for removing old paint using masking or chemical solutions.
Additionally, the role requires the operation of heavy machinery, demanding both physical endurance and strength.
Key Responsibilities:- Applying coatings to buildings, vehicles, or other structures.
- Preparing surfaces before applying paint.
- Maintaining and checking technical equipment to ensure functionality.
- Utilizing a range of painting tools, such as brushes, airbrushes, and rollers.
- Properly disposing of hazardous waste materials.
- Adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Employing various painting methods tailored to different surface types.
- Using protective gear, including goggles, during the painting process.
- Measuring paint viscosity and thickness using specialized tools.
- Removing old paint layers through masking or chemical means.
- Performing touch-ups and painting smaller items.
- Ensuring adequate ventilation during and after the application of paint.
- Using electroplating techniques for metal coating.
- Polishing metal surfaces to achieve a desired finish.
- Applying paint to wood and plastic materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in painting various types of surfaces.
- Familiarity with technical machinery.
- Physical capability to handle machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and diligence.
