Progressive Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including post-CABG/Cath Lab patients, respiratory, and complicated GI patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is a 280-bed hospital that provides a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and acute rehab services. We are accredited by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center, and our stroke rehabilitation program has received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Disease-Specific Care Certification of Stroke Rehabilitation.
