About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Health Aide to join our team at Absolutely Able Home Care. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide high-quality care to our clients with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Monitor and report any changes in our clients' condition to our support staff
Requirements
  • Experience working with clients with dementia and Alzheimer's disease
  • Ability to plan and prepare healthy meals with dietary restrictions in mind
  • Excellent cooking skills
  • Experience with cognitive impairment and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Strong housekeeping skills and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment
