Job Title: Registered Nurse - 5N Medical Telemetry Unit

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 5N Medical Telemetry Unit at ChristianaCare. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our patients and families.

About the Role:
  • Assist in managing 5 medical patients per shift, working collaboratively with a team that includes a unit-based Nurse Practitioner, attending and consulting physicians, a pharmacy, a physical therapist, and other assistive personnel.
  • Deliver care that supports adult patients facing acute illnesses, with a focus on maintaining function, providing education, and maintaining safety.
  • Engage in a relationship-based care model, building relationships with patients, families, and peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.
About the Unit:

Our 5N Medical Telemetry Unit is a fast-paced environment with private and semi-private rooms, caring for patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including pneumonia, COPD, HF, stroke, and more. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements:
  • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
  • BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date
  • At least one year of medical surgical experience as an RN
  • BLS required
