Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and occupational therapy needs, developing personalized treatment plans to enhance their well-being.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, working closely with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing education and support to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct home assessments and adaptive equipment evaluations, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Document patient progress, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
