Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide technical assistance to our Interventional Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to the Interventional Radiology team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain high-quality images of designated body parts.
  • Assist physicians with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures, including monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data to be utilized by physicians.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
  • Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Requirements
  • Current license in good standing.
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
  • Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
  • Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.
