Key Responsibilities

In this vital role, you will care for patients who are critically ill or unstable due to significant injuries, surgeries, or serious medical conditions. Our nursing staff plays a crucial role in patient advocacy, family support, and sometimes, emotional companionship.

MedSurg Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Maintain vigilance and focus in a high-acuity environment
  • Demonstrate quick thinking and responsiveness in emergencies
  • Exhibit proficiency in telemetry and cardiac monitoring
  • Commit to excellence in patient care delivery

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with skills verification
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Leadership experience is a plus

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
