Toddler Teacher Role

At The Learning Experience, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. As an ambassador of happiness, you will create opportunities every day that reflect our mission to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom, modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
  • Oversee classroom management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  • Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning, serving as a role model for your team.
  • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that meets their unique needs.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various channels.
  • Support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  • Build relationships with families and coworkers, fostering a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred; at least six months of experience required.
  • Associate degree or higher in ECE or a related field preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • It's SIDS training certification.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
