Job Summary

Pioneer Production Services is seeking a skilled Offshore Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems on our offshore platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components on compressor units, generator units, and pump units.
  • Inspect, calibrate, repair, test, adjust, install, and remove all electronic equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and make repairs on automatic valves, motor starters, electrical motors, pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, electrical control panels, generator control panels, generators, and switchgears.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical devices using hand and power tools, electrical and electronic measuring and test devices, diagnostic equipment, vendor literature, technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
  • Daily routine checks for obvious signs of electrical and instrumentation failure, such as loose hanging wires, junction boxes, lighting, leaking tubing, and stuck shuttle valves.
  • Familiar with Allen Bradley PLCs, Rosemont and Siemens transmitters, Versa valves, Westlock indicators, and Fisher control valves.
  • Work a 7/7 schedule flying out of Houma, LA.

Requirements

  • Experience with electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, Rosemont and Siemens transmitters, Versa valves, Westlock indicators, and Fisher control valves.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
