Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Delta Downs Racetrack Casino Hotel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical, and other related systems and equipment.
  • Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak, and other emergencies.
  • Install and repair electrical conduit and wiring throughout the complex.
  • Service and repair air handler units and other HVAC equipment.
  • Install and repair plumbing and other related systems.
  • Repair or install parking lot lighting ballasts and other electrical equipment.
  • Weld metal fabrication and install materials as needed.
  • Replace and install high voltage shunt and motor control gear as required.
  • Service and repair cooling towers and other related equipment.
  • Clear drains using electric rotary action snake or other appropriate methods.
  • Repair and install new or damaged equipment such as television repairs, ceiling repairs due to water leaks, lighting repairs, fixtures, and kitchen equipment.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Prior related experience preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
  • Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
