Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Infojini Healthcare. The successful candidate will have experience in managing ICU assignments with intubated/ventilated patients and a strong background in pediatric cardiovascular care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the care of PICU patients with congenital heart defects
- Manage the care of PICU patients on multiple vasoactive infusions
- Place chest tubes, central lines, PICC lines, and arterial lines
- Place Quinton catheters, peracentesis, and thoracentesis
Requirements:
- PALS/BLS certification
- Experience in pediatric cardiovascular ICU
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with managing care of PICU patients with congenital heart defects
- Experience with managing care of PICU patients on multiple vasoactive infusions
Unit Information:
- 24-bed pediatric cardiovascular ICU
- Variable census and acuity
- Experienced staff with a positive and flexible attitude
