Job Summary
Clinical Management Consultants is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Nurse Director of Post-Anesthesia Care Unit to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing and guiding the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) to provide the best clinical care possible to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily updates regarding the status of the PACU to the Nurse Director of Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
- Work together with the Nurse Director to ensure all rules and regulations are being followed
- Serve as a direct leader to the Assistant Nurse Manager of Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
- Provide assistance and expertise during pressing and/or critical situations
- Mentor PACU Nurses to ensure each patient is being treated with the utmost care
Requirements
- Active RN license
- CPAN certification (ideal)
- Well-versed in medical equipment utilized within the PACU
- Ability to manage and provide direct oversight to the PACU
- 24/7 coverage of the PACU
