Job Responsibilities

As a Fire Protection Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of fire safety piping, valves, and related components in commercial and industrial settings. You may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends, to fulfill project and customer needs. All tasks must be executed with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Key Duties

In this role, you will:
  • Efficiently install wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and comply with company safety regulations.
  • Receive and follow verbal and written instructions from the lead technician.
  • Handle equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Perform physical tasks in various positions, including climbing ladders and using scaffolding or aerial lifts.
  • Maintain a tidy and secure work environment.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor and adapt swiftly to changing situations.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
  • The capability to perform physical labor.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
