Moore Advanced Inc. is seeking a skilled Grain Elevator Worker to join their team in Essex, MO. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic company.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the day-to-day operations of a grain elevator under supervision. This includes completing entry-level requirements prior to becoming a Class 1 operator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks assigned by supervisor to ensure efficient grain elevator operations.
  • Complete entry-level requirements to become a Class 1 operator.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve company goals.

Physical Demands:

  • Balance: Good balance required to walk safely.
  • Stand: Stand for extended periods while waiting for trucks to enter and exit dump pits.
  • Forward bend: Required to forward bend to open trailer doors and lift rail car lids.
  • Walk: Walk a few steps at a time while unloading trucks.
  • Push: Push with a force up to 25# to sweep grain.
  • Reach: Reach down to lift railcar lids and up to open dump trailer latches.
  • Grip: Grip with a force up to 25# to hold and operate brooms and scoops.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. The work schedule will vary depending on the season, with regular hours during the off-season and extended hours during harvest.
