Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk/Member Services Associate at the YMCA of Rapid City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, and program participants, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Conduct interviews and tours to promote membership sales and provide accurate program information.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with volunteers and members, fostering a sense of community and connection.
  • Handle and resolve membership concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Apply YMCA policies and procedures to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as required, and assist with facility maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
