Role Responsibilities: The Technician will handle all facets of textile and hard surface cleaning. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively under the guidance of the Operations Manager. Effective communication with clients and our office is essential, especially when clients are not present on-site. This includes utilizing notes, photos, videos, emails, and texts to ensure clarity and satisfaction.

Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role is essential.

Daily Duties:

  • Conduct a morning checklist to ensure the work van is stocked with necessary safety equipment and materials.
  • Review daily schedules and work orders through our online operations system.
  • Collect payments and secure job completion signatures from customers.
  • Document job completion with notes, photos, and videos.
  • Adhere to proper procedures for commercial carpet extraction and encapsulation cleaning.
  • Follow established methods for tile and grout cleaning.
  • Execute VCT stripping, cleaning, and refinishing tasks.
  • Maintain positive interactions with customers, including managing expectations and providing estimated arrival times.
  • Arrive at work punctually.
  • Prepare the van and equipment for the next shift after cleaning.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Complete any additional job-related tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to assist team members.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift equipment weighing up to 90 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and some weekends.
  • Strong communication skills; proficiency in a second language is advantageous.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Possess a clean, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Pass a background check and maintain a drug-free status.
  • Ability to address customer concerns with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, punctual, and ready to work with a friendly demeanor.
  • Deliver thorough cleaning services while remaining organized and efficient.
