Compensation: Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with potential for overtime and on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Oversee welding operations, specifically MIG welding.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as tapes, scales, micrometers, and calipers.
- Conduct electrical maintenance tasks including circuit tracing, interpreting wiring diagrams, and managing both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Manage mechanical tasks related to equipment installation, calibration, and maintenance of various components such as pumps, bearings, and seals.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a small team of maintenance staff.
- Strong comprehension of technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with hand tools, including saws, drills, and reamers.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and applying logical reasoning to identify and resolve issues.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining stamina for prolonged periods.
- Valid forklift certification and the ability to operate a forklift.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to be on-call and work overtime as necessary.
- Exemplary attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team or work independently.
- Experience with electrical PLC/control panel systems is preferred.
