- Utilize multiple online systems to verify insurance eligibility and benefit levels, as well as to retrieve patient orders and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with changing healthcare policies and procedures, adapting to new requirements and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
- 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience, with a focus on healthcare registration and scheduling.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer data-entry and typing, with the ability to type 40 wpm.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
