Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

Mountain West Medical Center is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilizing them as needed.
  • Administer contrast media as required for CT scans.
  • Monitor patients during CT scans and respond to any emergencies that may arise.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • ARRT (R) Radiography Certification - must be certified and competent to independently perform X-Ray exams during a shift in addition to CT exams.
  • 2 years of experience in CT scanning is preferred.
Schedule:

The job includes 3x12 hour shifts, with variable days of the week, including both day and night shifts. Shifts frequently open Sunday Night, Wednesday Night, and Thursday Night or Friday Night. On-call duties include rotating call weekends every 3rd weekend and covering any during staff PTO.

Unit Specific Information:

The CT Technologist will be using various systems, including Carestream PACS, Medhost, EXA, Siemens Definition AS, Siemens Force for Coronary CTA & Calcium Score exams, GE Precision 180 (Fluoro/DR XR room), Philips Bucky Diagnost (CR XR room), GE Optima portable DR XR, and Carestream retrofit portable DR XR.
