We are seeking a skilled team member to join our Medical Imaging Department as a Radiology Technologist II.

This is a PRN, as-needed position, working days, nights, and weekends.

  • Responsible for providing direct patient care as ordered by physicians.
  • Provides education and communicates with patients, families, and other healthcare workers.
  • Performs general, portable, surgical, ER trauma, and fluoroscopic radiographs.
  • Knows radiation exposure techniques and contrast media.
  • Assists the Radiologist with special procedures.
Advanced Certification Requirements:
  • Completes advanced certification in Mammography through the ARRT or has 15 years of experience in Mammography.
  • Understands MQSA regulations.
  • Reviews patient history for screening or diagnostic exams, produces and critiques high-quality images, and completes patient management information consistent with the mammography exam.
  • Completes advanced certification in Computed Tomography through the ARRT or has 15 years of experience in CT.
  • Knows and applies CT principles.
  • Selects scanning protocols for the appropriate exam and utilizes techniques to obtain adequate images.
  • Identifies cross-sectional anatomy and utilizes advanced computer equipment to produce detailed images of internal body structures.
  • Completes advanced certification in Bone Density through the ARRT or ISCD or has 15 years of experience in Bone Density.
Education, Licensure, Certification, and Registration Requirements:
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program.
  • Completes advanced certification in Mammography through the ARRT, or advanced certification in CT (required) through the ARRT, or advanced certification in Bone Density through the ARRT or ISCD.
  • Wisconsin State Radiologic Technologist License.
  • CPR certification.
Work Schedule:

PRN, as-needed, days, nights, and weekends.
