TotalMed is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children. Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is approximately $110,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. This figure takes into account the cost of living in Little Rock, AR, as well as the level of experience required for this role.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse in the PICU, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a safe and supportive healing environment.
- Care for critically ill children, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, and other advanced therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide wound care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, lab results, and treatment plans.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess:
- A valid RN license in the state of Arkansas.
- At least 1 year of experience in a pediatric intensive care unit or similar setting.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
