Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. This role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasound examinations for various areas including:
- Abdomen (Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, and Renal)
- GYN (breast, ovaries, Adnexa, Uterus, Pelvis)
- OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester assessments)
- Neonatal imaging (congenital anomalies)
- Superficial structures (Abdominal wall, breast, thyroid)
- Vascular assessments (Carotid duplex, venous and arterial duplex)
- Perform interventional procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, and drainage.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Required certifications: ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT) and active BLS certification (AHA certified).
Work Schedule:
- 40-hour work week with night shifts and on-call responsibilities as needed.
- Flexibility to float to other departments when required.
Dress Code:
- Professional healthcare attire, including personal scrubs.
Additional Information:
- Holiday coverage may be required.
- No guaranteed minimum hours.
Specialty Focus:
- Diagnostic Imaging with emphasis on Ultrasound Technology for general abdominal, obstetric, small parts, and vascular assessments.
Certifications:
- General Certifications: BLS/BCLS
- Allied Health Certifications: ARDMS (AB), ARDMS (OB), ARDMS (RVT)
