Wooden Crate Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Wooden Crate Assembler to join our team at TransPak. As an Assembler - Wood, you will play a critical role in building high-quality wooden crates using blueprints and power tools. Your strong teamwork skills and attention to detail will ensure that our products meet customer specifications for quality and on-time delivery.

• Build various sized wooden crates using nail and staple guns, power drills, grinders, and hammers.
• Use tape measure to ensure measurements match the cut sheet up to 1/8th inch.
• Safely assemble the tops (caps) of crates using ladders.
• May need to assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground, requiring use of a 20-pound, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling.
• Able to read, interpret, find, and document possible cut sheet and/or stenciling errors.
• Use adhesives to apply foam to wood crates and conduct specification checks.
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.

• 3 months of experience in carpentry, construction, and/or landscaping.
• Use of dimensional and electrical power tools and motorized equipment.
• Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number.
• Willingness to use heat sealers, utility knives, machinery, and varying textures of foam.

• Competitive hourly rate of $17.00 to $18.00.
