POSITION SUMMARY:
Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to become part of our Interventional Radiology team. The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced Radiology Physician Assistant (RPA) or a Physician Assistant with relevant experience. Responsibilities include rounding on patients, assessing, managing, and consulting on both inpatient and outpatient requests, as well as performing basic Interventional Radiology procedures such as lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, joint injections, and managing drainage catheters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an AMA accredited Physician Assistant Program or a degree program that meets state licensure requirements.
- National Certification in the state of employment or in another state with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant experience is preferred.
