Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:

Verovian Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As an RN in the NICU, you will provide specialized care for newborns with critical medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Assess neonatal patients' conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Educate and support families on neonatal care techniques and health management.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license in Washington.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Certification in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Neonatal ICU is preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
