Per Diem Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis in a skilled nursing facility setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, ensuring they align with physician orders and patient needs.
  • Administer medications accurately and safely, documenting all activities thoroughly in patient records.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identifying any changes in condition and promptly reporting them to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on various health conditions, treatments, and self-care practices.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to all infection control protocols.
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
