Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Roofing Advisor to join our team at Northpoint Roofing Systems. As a Roofing Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to homeowners on roof damage and repair or replacement options.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver in-person sales presentations to homeowners, showcasing our roofing services and solutions.
- Document all sales activity in our CRM database with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain a up-to-date calendar, ensuring timely appointments and responsive communication with customers and colleagues.
- Attend department meetings to stay informed on sales information, products, and industry trends.
- Develop strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Train other sales representatives to ensure a high level of sales performance.
- Handle escalated customer service issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, driving business growth and revenue.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in roofing, with a strong background in insurance and retail sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to travel, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong objection-handling skills, with the ability to present sales pitches in a professional manner.
- Familiarity with building codes, laws, and regulations, as well as roofing installation certification.
- Ability to safely navigate long distances, stairs, ladders, and roofs.
- Customer service-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Team player, with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals.
- Familiarity with tablets, Apple iPads, and Microsoft Office software.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong educational background.
