Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Advisor to join our team at Northpoint Roofing Systems. As a Roofing Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to homeowners on roof damage and repair or replacement options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver in-person sales presentations to homeowners, showcasing our roofing services and solutions.
  • Document all sales activity in our CRM database with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a up-to-date calendar, ensuring timely appointments and responsive communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Attend department meetings to stay informed on sales information, products, and industry trends.
  • Develop strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Train other sales representatives to ensure a high level of sales performance.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, driving business growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in roofing, with a strong background in insurance and retail sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to travel, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong objection-handling skills, with the ability to present sales pitches in a professional manner.
  • Familiarity with building codes, laws, and regulations, as well as roofing installation certification.
  • Ability to safely navigate long distances, stairs, ladders, and roofs.
  • Customer service-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Team player, with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals.
  • Familiarity with tablets, Apple iPads, and Microsoft Office software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong educational background.
