Job Title: District Manager

Charter Foods is seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee locations in the Cleveland, OH area. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the long-term development of your Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers, ensuring customers receive a consistent and positive experience, and managing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Development: Build and maintain a high-performing management team by selecting, training, and developing managerial employees.
  • Performance Management: Establish and review unit-specific performance targets in employee satisfaction, guest service, and margin improvement.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain company standards in food safety, product, and facility specifications.
  • Customer Service: Respond expeditiously to guest service needs and demonstrate appropriate decision-making skills.
  • Accountability: Hold management accountable and take appropriate action when needed.
  • Product and Initiative Introduction: Introduce and reinforce new products and initiatives.
  • Customer Expectation Management: Coach your team to identify and develop strategies to ensure customer expectations are being met.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze the financial performance of your area, understand trends, and drive sales to maximize profitability.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food service management at the multi-unit or district level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching, and development of managerial employees.
  • Proven ability to drive employee satisfaction/retention, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong desire to develop your team and actively continue your own development.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and reach objectives within specified time frames.
