Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Kenner, Louisiana.

Job Summary:

This is a travel opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform routine maintenance on equipment
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) certification
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
