Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Description:

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in a medical facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in respiratory therapy and be able to work effectively in a team environment. The position will involve providing respiratory care to patients, including administering medications and performing various procedures. The Respiratory Therapist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating with other healthcare professionals. The job will be for 18 weeks, with 36 hours worked per week. The shift will be 12 hours, nights. The employment type is travel, and the facility details will be provided upon contact. The job starts on November 11, 2024, and the assignment length is 18 weeks. Responsibilities:

Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members. Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members. Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes. Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation. Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit. Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required. Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies. Transports patients as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

One to three years experience as a Respiratory Therapy preferred. Other certifications may be required for this position. Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills. Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
